Playoff Report - 1999/2000 Season

The first round of the Church Men's Dartball League championships was played on March 21st, 2000. This round consisted of division champion with the best win / loss record playing the second place (wild-card) team with the best win / loss record and the other two first place teams playing each other. The Messiah Chiefs (52 - 14) of the American League defeated Sun Valley (41 - 25) of the Midwest League in 3 games; 12 - 1, 10 - 7, and 10 - 4. The New Hope Chicks (50 - 16) of the Midwest League defeated Our Saviors Vikings (41 - 25) of the National League in 5 games; 5 - 9, 8 - 2, 5 - 1, 5 - 6, and 5 - 4.

The league championship series between the Messiah Chiefs and the New Hope Chicks will be played on Monday, March 27th at Messiah Lutheran Church and on Tuesday, March 28th at New Hope United Methodist Church in a best 4 of 7 series. The games will be played beginning at 7 PM each night. Visitors are welcome at all the games.
