Church Dartball League Championship Series Report 

The Atonement Rebels defeated the New Hope Chicks to win this year's 
league championship taking 4 straight games in the best-of-seven series 
with scores of 4-3, 5-3, 10-3 and 3-2. 

Outstanding players in the series include Gary Pankonien of the 
Atonement Rebels (12 hits, 0.429 series batting average and Howard 
Cox of the New Hope Chicks (7 hits, 0.412 series batting average).

The annual Church Dartball League banquet will be held on Tuesday, 
April 13 th at 6:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church.  Award 
presentations and the annual business meeting will follow the dinner. 

All churches in the Beloit area are invited to join the league, 
which begins in September and runs through March.  Teams must have 
5 to 9 players.  All games are played on Tuesday evenings.  For more
