The Messiah Chiefs defeated the Atonement Rebels to win this year's league championship taking 4 straight games in the best-of-seven series with scores of 5-4, 8-7, 4-2 and 8-4.

Outstanding players in the series include Carl Schliem of the Messiah Chiefs (0.571 series batting average), Ken Thompson of the Messiah Chiefs (0.541 series batting average) and Roger Church of the Atonement Rebels (0.550 series batting average).

The annual Church Dartball League banquet will be held on Tuesday, April 16th at 6:30 p.m. at the 1st Baptist Churct. Award presentations and the annual business meeting will follow the dinner.

All churches in the Beloit area are invited to join the league, which begins in September and runs through March. Teams must have 5 to 9 players. All games are played on Tuesday evenings.
