The Beloit Church Dartball League consisting of 16 teams from 11 churches held its 36th annual banquet at the New Hope United Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 18, 2001. The meeting was opened with the invocation given by Rev. Ian Stirrat, pastor of the Sun Valley Presbyterian Church. Following a swiss steak dinner, the annual meeting of the league was held and award presentations made.
The following guests, pastors of participating churches, were recognized; Rev. Dennis Pingel og Messiah Lutheran, Rev. William Wagner of St. Johns Lutheran, Rev. Randy Krause of Atonement Lutheran, Rev. Kurt Handrich of Calvary Lutheran, Rev. Ian Stirrat of Sun Valley Presbyterian and Rev. Amy Jameson of Common Ground Ministries.
A moment of silence was observed in memory of deceased members Don Reedy (Atonement Rejects), Clyde McKee (1st Methodist), Henry Paugel (St. John PT615), Warby Beaumont (Trinity), Renville Harris (Gridley Blue Darts & 1st Methodist) and Doug Spooner (2nd Congregational).
During the league business meeting, the following individuals were elected league officers for the coming year;

The Messiah Chiefs received the Bill Knapp Memorial Championship Trophy for defeating the Our Saviors Vikings in the best of 7 league championship series. Members of the Messiah Chiefs receiving individual championship trophies include team captain Brian Engleson, Ken Thompson, Carl Schliem, Jon Pingel, Jason Engleson and Dennis Voegeli. Members of the Our Saviors Vikings receiving individual second place awards include team captain Bud Tester, Ray Nelson, Ray Luttig, Terry Matulle, Matt Matulle, Corey Matulle, Milt Kanitz, Walt Nelson and Harry Olsen.
